This blog will be real interesting someday when I've got something to say!
So I'm up late again, there are never enough hours in the day to get everything done... embarrassingly, I'm working on a 7-page paper that was due this past Tuesday, and here it is Friday night, and I'm only on page 4! Topic turned out to be a way huger ('s that a word?) topic than I'd anticipated. In title, it's just a paper about Women's prophetic/visionary writing during the Romantic Period, with focus on three writings in particular: Hannah More's poem "The Black Slave Trade", Anna Letitia Barbauld's poem "1811", and Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Trouble with it is, I more or less have to cover the history of prophecy! Which is not a monumental task, per se, just tedious. Professor may or may not accept the paper, but I'm doing it anyway. What really sucks, though, is when you have no excuses, and no one to blame but yourself. I'm not being pithy or trite, I really do hate the fact that I can't blame this on someone or something else.
Let's see, what else is exciting... the number of cds I have uploaded into my ipod just reached 500 today. Still a few more to go, but I basically have my whole music library on there now, which is nice. No more digging around for a cd I want to hear, but haven't seen in a year.
Well, that's probably enough for now, time for me to either go to bed, or let this paper continue to kick my ass.
